Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to, providing support to our customers, staff, and sales team. Daily duties will consist of assisting in office needs (i.e., directing phone calls, emails, and website inquiries) and managing our company’s general administrative activities (i.e., assisting with bookkeeping/banking duties, and organizing cheques, estimates, and invoices.
This is a part-time role with the potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate. Preference will be given to those with an interest in design or construction, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping (Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is preferred)
Manage and run payroll weekly
Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist in employee and subtrade scheduling, and the preparation of reports
Order office supplies and keep track of office inventory and organization
Maintain contact lists and customer inquiries
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Provide general support to President and Secretary Treasurer
Requirements:
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and QBO)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work from home (requires computer/wifi access)
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Compensation based on experience: Starting at a minimum rate of $18-$25 an hour
